At OSCA, we are proud to provide a sixth form experience that supports every student in achieving their personal best while developing the knowledge, skills and character needed for a successful and fulfilling future.  

We offer a range of pathways designed to suit different interests, ambitions and career goals. Students can study A Levels alongside a range of high-quality Level 3 qualifications, including BTECs, Applied Diplomas and AAQs. We also provide specialist programmes such as the Aston Villa Football and Education Programme and the Referee and Education Programme.  

However, sixth form life at OSCA is about more than academic success. We believe in developing well-rounded individuals, and our curriculum is designed to build confidence, independence and resilience. Students are supported to grow both as learners and as young adults, preparing them fully for university, apprenticeships or employment.  

As students transition into sixth form, we provide structured support to help them develop essential skills such as time management, organisation and effective study strategies; ensuring they are ready to meet the demands of advanced study.  

Our enrichment programme plays a key role in broadening students’ experiences and enhancing their personal development. Opportunities include:  

• Street First Aid training with St John Ambulance  

• Community volunteering  

• Fundraising initiatives  

• Student leadership roles across the Academy  

• Mentoring younger students, including through the Coram Beanstalk Reading Programme  

• Online learning opportunities, including MOOCs, FutureLearn and OpenLearn  

• Work Experience
