The closing date for applications was 31 October 2025. You can still make a late secondary school application. Please check Walsall Secondary Admissions website for details on how to apply.

Consultation on Admission Arrangements 2027-2028

A consultation was held, from 1st October 2025 to 12th November 2025, regarding proposed changes to the admission arrangements for Ormiston Shelfield Community Academy, for the academic year 2027-2028.

The consultation letter and admissions policy is below for your information.

Mid-Year Admissions and Appeals

All Mid-Year admission applications must be submitted directly to the academy.  The Mid-Year admission form below needs to be completed and returned to [email protected]

Mid-Year appeals are made outside the normal round of admissions.  If you have completed a Mid-Year admission form and have been added to our waiting list, and wish to appeal your place on the waiting list, you should complete a Mid-Year appeal form (below) and return this to [email protected]

Your appeal will be heard within 30 school days of being lodged.
